Anya, my baby, has turned one. I can't believe how quickly this past year seems to have gone. Although, when I think of all that has happened and that Darin was gone for 1/2 of it, it does seem like a long year. What follows will be a bazillion pictures, because I just don't think that I can have enough pictures of this little girl.
Wearing her birthday tutu. I just had to make a special skirt for her special day.
Anya can stand, but tips easily. She isn't close to walking and I don't mind. If she is like Christian and Jaggy, she won't walk for about 5 more months. My kids take their time.
This is what the cake started out looking like. It was just pink and was supposed to have frosting ruffles. The frosting was soft and the house was hot, so it wasn't looking like I would have wanted.
I added some marshmallow eyes, and I liked it much better.
She loved the singing and candle, but it had been a long day with the jungle party. She was tired and wanted to sleep, not party.
Happy Birthday Little Anya!
