As a 12 year old, Davis was able to be ordained a Deacon at church. I can't believe that we have enter the realms of Young Men and Boy Scouts. I don't know that I am ready for this phase. Girls and scout overnighters scare me.
Davis is a wonderful kid. He is thoughtful. He is a worrier. He is obsessive.
He wants to be good at everything he does. Except, he doesn't mind if he is lousy at doing his chores. He often tries to shirk his work.
He is an athlete and a super fast runner.
He is kind and considerate of others.
He laughs easily.
He gives "dead-fish" hugs and chicken peck kisses. Except to Anya and sometimes (after a lot of teasing and bugging) mom.
He is super smart. He has aced the Texas standardized tests in all areas both years we've been here.
He loves playing the french horn and loves blowing it loudly outside for all the neighbors to enjoy.
He is growing up to be a wonderful young man, and I love him a ton!
Parents and Davis. Thank you to the little old man at church who volunteered to take a picture so that we could have a family picture on Davis' special day.
