Germans have wood piles.
But, to me, the most amazing thing about the wood piles are the way that they are organized and stacked. They pile tons and tons of logs so neatly. The wood piles don't fall over. They are amazing.
When Darin was a kid, to keep he and his brother busy, they would have the job of UNstacking and then REstacking their family wood pile. He doesn't think that they ever used the wood, just stacked it...in case. This would be a wood pile to keep a group of 4 boys busy for an entire summer. Maybe Darin's dad had the right idea!
Wow! And they say that woodchucks can chuck wood! Maybe they're Germans. I'll say this, it doesn't look like Germans are lazy! Loved your Venice pictures, too!
