We wandered around the store looking at everything until the kiddos started to revolt and cry starvation. We loaded up on a variety of breads, pastries and a few tarts (treats not ladies, you'd never know in France without the explanation). Then we headed to the van to feed the troops before continuing our adventures for the day. Great Bread!

French Bread
Saturday we had to stick around because Davis was gone to a scouting thing. We did, however, have plenty of time to drive to France, go to a grocery store, and buy some bread. It was a fun little adventure and just another reason that it is so awesome to live so close to these other countries. Europe is amazingly small, especially after living in the massive state of Texas where we could drive all day and still be in Texas.

Some of my FAVORITE travel adventures happen in local grocery stores! Plus, I just love to eat.
ReplyDeleteAnd I laughed out loud at the tire truck!! My boys are going to think it's hilarious.
What better place to get French bread than France???? It is surprising until you experience it just how close and small the countries of Europe are. Have fun!
