Davis had a "chair test" on Friday. He had to play this note (listen to video). He was given First Chair as a result of his fabulous playing. Please enjoy this music that I get to listen to all the time!

DeNae could tell about Brett begging a professor in the music dept. @ the "U" to pass DeNae on the trumpet because he "thought" he recognized a tune she played. I could also tell you about Jon's skill as a 3rd grader on the violin - actually he did well for a 3rd grader just beginning. Now both DeNae and Jon are great musicians. ReplyDeleteI don't think my ear drums WILL EVER recover from Jared's first few years of violin lessons. (And my marraige almost ended when Nathan decided he wanted to learn to play the bagpipes. Luckily that was a very short-lived hobby.)
